Joining is free and your first project needs no membership at all. From your second job the $14.99/mo membership starts, and one membership covers up to five properties, or as many as you need on a property manager account. Not per job, not per property.
No. You describe the job in plain English, pick a day and a window, and see a typical price range before anything is booked. It's built from national averages and real completed jobs, so nobody's guessing or gouging, and on standard jobs you're never charged more than 20% over the top of that range. If a job needs a look first, the pro proposes one price on-site and nothing happens until you approve it in the app.
Every pro passes a background check and has a current certificate of insurance on file before their first job, and then our own test: would we let this person into our own house? You can also request a female pro on any job. It's a checkbox in the app.
Never before the job is done. Most jobs charge the moment the completion photo is up. Anything over $300 holds for 24 hours first, so you have time to look it over.
Flag it in the app. Payment stops immediately. If a pro damages something and doesn't make it right within 48 hours, Domas pays you up to $1,000 and takes it up with the pro and their insurer. You have 7 days after a job to report damage.
There isn't one. We don't mark up the work and we don't sell your request as a lead. Your $14.99 is the entire membership. No per-job fee, no per-property fee.
